En racontant cette dure histoire J\u00e9sus veut nous affirmer que le P\u00e8re est toujours activement pr\u00e9sent dans notre vie pour nous exprimer son amour et sa tendresse en entendant nos plaintes, en \u00e9coutant notre pri\u00e8re et en nous aidant dans nos \u00e9preuves quotidiennes. Il veut simplement que nous lui exprimions notre foi en sa bont\u00e9 infinie et notre esp\u00e9rance en sa g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 incommensurable par une pri\u00e8re pers\u00e9v\u00e9rante.
La pri\u00e8re chr\u00e9tienne ne consiste pas en des invocations, des chapelets r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniquement ou des formules apprises par c\u0153ur. Plus qu\u2019un acte, la pri\u00e8re chr\u00e9tienne est fondamentalement un \u00e9tat, une fa\u00e7on d\u2019\u00eatre devant Dieu. C\u2019est vivre en sa pr\u00e9sence tels que nous sommes, avec notre fragilit\u00e9, nos p\u00e9ch\u00e9s, nos difficult\u00e9s\u2026, les partager avec lui, s\u2019en remettre en toute confiance \u00e0 sa volont\u00e9 et lui dire avec S. Augustin qui ne voyait dans la vie aucun r\u00e9pit parce qu\u2019elle \u00e9tait une provocation.: \u00ab Tout mon espoir n\u2019est plus que dans ton immense et vaste piti\u00e9. Donne de quoi suivre tes ordres et ordonne ce que tu veux \u00bb.
Continuons \u00e0 vivre constamment dans cette relation confiante avec le P\u00e8re et n\u2019ayons pas peur de son silence, ni de son retard \u00e0 nous exaucer. Soyons s\u00fbrs qu\u2019il ne tardera pas \u00e0 nous aider d\u2019une fa\u00e7on beaucoup plus parfaite et plus abondante que nos demandes ou nos d\u00e9sirs. Parce qu\u2019il n\u2019est que Bont\u00e9 et G\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 infinies.
