De personnes timides et peureux, il fait des \u00e9vang\u00e9lisateurs courageux et intr\u00e9pides et il leur a rappel\u00e9 le commandement de J\u00e9sus : \u00ab Allez, de toutes les nations faites des disciples \u00bb. Allez les \u00e9vang\u00e9liser.
Evang\u00e9liser n\u2019est ni faire de la r\u00e9clame comme pour une marchandise, ni faire du pros\u00e9lytisme pour augmenter num\u00e9riquement les adeptes, ni seulement \u00e9tendre g\u00e9ographiquement l\u2019Eglise, ni lib\u00e9rer les hommes politiquement\u2026 Evang\u00e9liser, c\u2019est, dit le Saint Paul VI : \u00ab Atteindre, bouleverser par la force de l\u2019Evangile les crit\u00e8res de jugement, les valeurs d\u00e9terminantes, les points d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat, les lignes de pens\u00e9e, les sources inspiratrices et les mod\u00e8les de vie de l\u2019humanit\u00e9, qui sont en contraste avec la Parole de Dieu et le dessein du Salut \u00bb. Evang\u00e9liser c\u2019est transformer du dedans, r\u00e9volutionner, renverser par la puissance de l\u2019Evangile, la conscience personnelle et collective des hommes, leur activit\u00e9, leur milieu et leur culture afin de les amener \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre dans le Christ le seul et v\u00e9ritable Sauveur, et, dans son amour, la seule loi qui r\u00e9git les hommes et l\u2019univers.
Evang\u00e9liser c\u2019est enfin participer activement avec tous les hommes de bonne volont\u00e9 au d\u00e9veloppement complet de tout l\u2019homme et de tout homme. Demandons au Saint Esprit, le protagoniste de toute \u00e9vang\u00e9lisation, comme l\u2019appelle Saint Jean- Paul II, de nous aider dans ce travail essentiel pour tout baptis\u00e9.
